ok guys get this strait
boat prop are very diffrent from airplane prop
first off a boat prop has more grip then a air plane prop
so that mkaes it have "slippage" my boa prop has 155 slippage and the avrage airplan prop has about 40% slippage , so tehre is no wasy you can compare the both
and a boat prop has more pitch then a airplane prop
and turbines re just a diffrent story , becuse there is no motor on the tubine blade , it is gas /nitro fire that make pressuer and turns over the props which goes into a transfer case then to the prop

and any way , i can hit 50 MPH easy with this boat and i dont even have the rite prop becuse it is over reving so i can rpop it up a bit which make for more speed

any way thanks all

ive heard some good reviews on this super vee, and its now out in most stores. but on my current income (none) and my airboat and future gasser (no zenoah) airboat build. my calender is full Crying or Very sad . and my wallet is emptey Evil or Very Mad

then again, i could prolong the gasser and get the super vee Very Happy

i woudnt buy the sv27 until a long time out on the shevles
it has structural problems paint chips and cracks the drive line get bunged up the rudder sticks the motor cogges to much , the radio box leakes and so does the hatch

that is way too much bad stuff. anyway, im looking in to making an FE mono hull. the hull i wan to use is the cayman from mhz. ill put in the shark 20 BL and some other stuff. but itll be a long term build. if im lucky ill get the hull by christmas and probably wont finish the boat untill maybe the end of that year.

th eonly thing that appeals to me in the SV27 is the speed, besides that everything else really doesent meet my standards.

one more taking over the thread...

about the air pro vs. water prop:

even though water props have more grip, if you can get that airboat to get on plane enough that barely any of it is in the water, it might go faster, being that some of the speed pro planes can go over the 200mph mark, if you make the airboat light enough, with a powerfull engine, you can get it to do fast speed....also, the new (official) fsteset airboat speed it 47mph....
